The presence of a controller is essential, because it makes driving a smooth experience. If you have observed e-bikes, then you must have noticed that all the wires on an e-bike go to the controller then from controller to the motor where power is required.
To get best results, e-bike use different battery technologies and thus their price normally reflects the weight of the battery pack. Depending upon the battery and charger type, it takes 4 to 8 hours to charge a battery completely.
