The Promovec Element has given me back my independence!

I have ridden a bike for many years but recently had found it painful to pedal due to arthritic spine and knees. I had to depend on the family to drive me to the shops as I cannot walk very far.

Now that I have the Element I can come and go as I please! Riding up steep hills is effortless and the bike is very comfortable.

I'm so glad I decided to invest in this super, super bicycle and would happily recommend it. Anne Cullen

Just to let you the Promovec is brilliant. Having not been on a bike for thirty years, I managed nearly eight miles yesterday!!!! And I am amazed how easy it was. Legs were fine but the bottom is a bit delicate today! I’ll certainly be promoting these bikes and your company to anyone who wants to avail of the cycle to work scheme". Katherine, HSE

It should be noted that electric bikes of any kind are illegal to operate ANYWHERE in NY state. Although you'll probably never see anyone enforce the law. ---Kobi

That is unfortunate regarding New York and e-bikes. I know my kit I got from Hi-Power Cycles is extremely fast (40+ mph) which was marketed for "off road" use. When I ride on the public streets I ride try to ride my bike as "normal" as possible...and by normal I mean keep up with the flow of traffic . I love my e-bike and the face bikers make when you fly by them pedaling backwards!

There is no better hub motor available on the market from what I have tested. I had an izip bike and sold it as soon as I converted my nice dual suspension setup which is better in every regard. There really is no comparison between them! For someone who wants the most basic electric bike, gets the job done, but for people who want to make the best perfrming ebike this is the way to go. Hope this helps someone get a nice little electric bike conversion!
