At EbikePower.Co.ltd our priority is to ensure that you are highly satisfied with your purchase. In the unlikely event that you are not, please feel free to return your goods within 14 days of the purchase date for a full exchange or refund.
Any of our products can be returned to us for any reason provided it is returned in 'showroom condition' with its original packaging and with a valid receipt.
Returns can be made at our Pearse Street store, including purchases made online. Or you can return your purchase by post.
Refunds will be processed using the same method of payment used for the original purchase. Credit & debit card refunds must be made to the card used for the original purchase, cheque payments will be refunded in cash but due to banking restrictions can only be refunded at least 14 days after the original purchase date. We are unable to offer any refund without a valid receipt and the goods must be returned in original packaging with all warranty cards, manuals and accessories.
Bicycle assembly and delivery
At EbikePower Co,ltd we take pride in giving you the best possible bike purchasing experience, whether that be in our store, over the phone or online.
One area that sets us apart from our competitors is the effort we go to in order to ensure your bike reaches you in a safe and secure condition with only minor assembly before you can hit the road.
For your convenience, comfort and safety ALL bikes purchased via our website are fully assembled and tested by one of our qualified mechanics prior to being dispatched.
During the assembly process the forks, wheels, seat-post and components are fitted. Gears and brakes are adjusted wheels are trued, tyres pumped up and all nuts and bolts tightened.
If you have purchased any accessories, they will be fitted to the bike FREE of charge at this point (just notify us at the time of ordering).
How much is delivery?
We offer a FREE standard delivery service on all our bikes as well as priority delivery services to within China. Standard shipping rates only apply to accessories, depending on weight our standard rate is $20. We do not currently have preference rates outside of Ireland but please let us know if you would like a quote for your country.
How long is delivery?
- All 'In Stock' orders that are received by Electric Bicycles.ie before 3pm GMT, placed online or ordered by telephone should be dispatched the same day.
- Any orders received after 3pm GMT or during the weekend should be dispatched the next working day.
- Delivery times vary depending on where the goods are being sent to and the type of service that has been selected.
- For out of stock items please allow 14 days from order to delivery.

What is the difference between a regular bike and an electric bike?
The concept of e-bikes is based on the principle of augmenting, not replacing human power. Electric bikes are like regular bikes with a battery-powered electric motor that assists with your pedaling. The average person who normally rides at 10 mph can ride at 15-20 mph using the same effort.
Why would I buy an electric bike?

How should I care for the battery?
In order to achieve maximum battery life and range of the e-bike we recommend that charging takes place in a warm room. With temperatures below 20ºC prolonged charging time must be expected. Please note that the capacity of the battery will decrease when temperatures fall below 20ºC.Optimum battery charging conditions are at 20ºC. If the battery is exposed to direct sunlight the battery life deteriorates considerably.Memory effect does not occur in Li-ION batteries. It is thus unnecessary to discharge the battery before starting a recharge.
Charging of the Li-ION battery at frequent intervals may prolong the battery life. However, please note that once charging of the battery has been started you should not discontinue the process as this may have a negative influence on the battery life.
The law for electric bicycles.
All products sold by electricbicycles.ie are pedelec's which means they do not require licensee.
Electrically-assisted cycles are usually classified as either pedelecs or e-bikes. Under European Union/USA/Canada/Australia Etc regulations adopted in the Each Country in June 2003, only power-assisted cycles meeting the pedelec classification are considered to be pedal cycles. The maximum power allowed in the European Union for (pedelec) electric bicycles is 250 W, with a maximum assisted speed of 25 km/h.[38]. To meet the pedelec specification the electric motor must be activated by the rider's pedalling effort and the power must cut out completely whenever the rider stops pedalling. Control of the motor by pedalling is often the key difference between a pedelec and e-bike.
Earlier regulations required that the motor has an average power output limited to 200 W (250 W for tricycles and tandems) and weight limited to 40 kg (60 kg for tricycles and tandems). These regulations must come in-line with the EU regulations by (find deadline). For models sold before June 2003, e-bikes conforming to the speed, weight and power limits may also be considered pedal cycles. Electric bikes with higher power outputs, or those not meeting the "pedelec" definition are now treated as motorcycles and require a license.

2. Are hub motors good for climbing hills?
The gearless motors on this website will give assistance going up hills but you may have to pedal also. The 36V models have strong torque and are very good hill climbers! Our axial flux motor is up to 98% efficient and will give assistance at all speeds.
3. What is regenerative Braking?
Regenerative braking puts energy back into your batteries when you slow down or go downhill. The system is similar to the Toyota Prius and extends the range of your ebike without extending your own energy input. It also reduces wear and tear on the brakes.
4. What is the difference between front wheel and rear wheel?
Front wheel is easier to install and can keep your original speed gear of the rear wheel, rear wheel has 5-speed gear.
5. Does your standard kit include regenerative Braking?
No, our standard kit uses standard controller, if you want regenerative braking, you have to change our standard controller to regenerative controller, the difference cost is about USD40, if you want this, please kindly tell us. But one point please pay attention, standard controller is more stable than regenerative controller.
6. What is the difference between standard braking and regenerative braking kit?
Regenerative braking kit can save power, the battery can drive more distance, but the top speed will be also lower than standard braking kit, so if you prefer high speed, we recommend you to buy standard braking kit.
7. Is there any maintenance required?
No, never with brushless gearless motors because there is only one moving part in the entire system, the wheel!
8. Is Pedelec Sensor included?
Yes, and you can install it or not as you will.
9. How much is the minimum fork width for front and rear wheel?
Normally for front wheel shall be 8.5cm minimum, and for rear wheel shall be 13.50cm minimum.
10. What is the charger in this kit?
The charger in our kit is only for Lead-Acid battery charging. Please do not use for Li-ion battery charging.
11. Are batteries included?
No. If you need, we can also supply you LiFePO4 Battery.
12. Do you sell battery?
Yes, we only supply LiFePO4 batteries with Aluminium Case, Charger and key lock. (Only for 36V 12Ah, 48V 10Ah and smaller battery has Aluminium Case, big Capacity battery can only with battery bag.)

We recommend big power motor to choose big capacity battery, for example: For 200W,250W and 350W motor kits, we recommend to use 10AH or 12AH Batteries, for 500W and 750W motor kits, we recommend to use 15AH,20AH Batteries. For 1000W motor kits, we recommend to use 20AH or above Batteries.
